Construction:

  • Solid hand laid GRP below waterline

  • Balsa cored GRP above waterline

  • Hull to deck joint is a shoebox inward turning flange on 7”centers and glassed over, capped with a teak rub strake.

  • Marine plywood bulkheads bonded and glassed to the hull

  • Decking professionally finished with non-skid paint (kiwi grip applied in 2023)

  • Hull windows Lexan 8mm, renewed in 2020

  • Antifouling: Coppercoat 2016. Maintenance on coating done in 2019 and 2023.


Interieur:

    Center cockpit

    Two cabin, one head layout. Cabinetry and joinery of high quality, varnished mahogany with satin finish.

  • Salon: Center dinette leaf table, port and starboard settees, double as sea berths with lee cloth. Tons of storage space in cabinets, under and behind settees and under floor.

  • Headroom 1.95m (6'5”)

  • Galley: U- shaped with double sink, 8 cabinets to store pots and pans and a cutlery drawer. Pressurized hot and cold water. Propane ENO two burner stove with oven. Top loading fridge/ freezer. Water saving footpump.

  • Owner's cabin: located aft, Custom double matrass to port with storage underneath the bed and overhead hatch, L-shaped settee with storage underneath. Vanity with sink (also used as watermaker station). Storage lockers, book cabinet and extra shelving.

  • Two hanging and one shelving locker in the walk through to the salon, with automatic, door-operated led lighting. Also in the walk through: big acces hatch to the well-lit engine room.

  • Guest cabin: Forward V-berth with shelving on either side and overhead hatch

  • Head: forward to port, manual marine toilet, shower with draining floor, vanity with deep sink. Storage in 4 shelved lockers.

  • Chart table: To starboard, full size front facing table with storage underneath and under seat.

    Complete switching panel replaced (2018) with all new switches and automatic fuses.

    Tank meters, temperature gauges, barograph, battery status for house bank and starter battery provided by Simarine touch display.

    VHF radio, SSB radio with Pactor modem for weather fax, email and grib files. Pioneer FM radio-cd player with USB input. Watcheye AIS transponder with GPS and stealth mode.

  • All new ceiling upholstery (vinyl) and curtains for all windows in 2022


Engine:

1998 Volvo penta MD 22L-bt 59 hp , 2970 hours. Very reliable and well maintained.

Fuel filter: Dual Separ SWK-2000/5/u filtersystem with quick switch valve.

Regular oil, filters, belts, zincs, impellor changes. (documented in excel)

Timing belt replaced in 2020 (300 hours on new belt)

Encapsulated propshaft with cutlass bearing, stuffing box.

All things engine room are recorded in a excel sheet.

Propellor: Bruntons self-pitching Autoprop. The Autoprop gives better overall performance and manouverability and is very efficient with motor-sailing.

The original fixed 3 blade bronze prop is still on board as a spare.

2016 throughulls and ball valves replaced (bronze).

2019 remaining toilet throughulls and valves replaced (bronze, Groco)

  • House batteries: (dec 2020) 2x 150AH Gel

  • Victron Smart battery sensor

  • Starter battery: (2021) Sentennial marine

  • Victron phoenix smart charger IP43 30Ah (2022), works both on 110V & 220V.

  • Victron Inverter 800W Pure sine

  • 4x Victron MPPT 75/15 (All panels on individual MPPT controller)

  • Solar panels (2019) 2x 190Wp (one either side)

  • Solar panel (2017) on coach roof 90Wp

  • Additional fold up solar panel (2024) for extra power or when anchored, 160Wp. To put on the deck.

  • 27kg propane bottle in separate, vented gas locker aft.


Watermaker:

Seawater Pro 60l/h (15gal/h), installed in the engineroom, with membrane on a cooler place in the locker. Controller panel/ watermaker station in the aft cabin.

We run the boat like this for 6 years, we hardly ever go into marinas.


Sails and deck gear:

Mainsail 26m2 (281 sq.ft) 2016 needs repairs or replacing.
